2. What is Njoi?
Launched in December 2011, Njoi is Malaysia’s first subscription-free satellite TV service. Njoi gives consumers in Malaysia access to quality education, information and entertainment including sports and music on 28 TV and 20 radio channels with no monthly subscription.
Njoi Package
1. New DMT Boxes
Njoi is available at a one-time payment of RM350* and RM100 for installation. It will include:
a) 1 NJOI Decoder
b) 1 Remote Control Unit
c) 1 Outdoor satellite dish
d) 1 Smart Card
2. Refurbished DMT
Njoi is also available at a one-time payment of RM285* and RM100 for installation. It will include:
a) 1 NJOI Decoder (Refurbished DMT)
b) 1 Remote Control Unit
c) 1 Outdoor satellite dish
d) 1 Smart Card
As part of a new campaign: -
Customers now can have a choice of buying a NJOI Refurbished DMT at RM285.00* while stocks last. It serves as a lower entry point for Malaysians to enjoy Malaysia’s first subscription-free satellite TV service. Each NJOI RDMT has been inspected, tested, cleaned and fully refurbished with replacement parts for any defects identified. Just like a new DMT, the NJOI RDMT will be under 12 months warranty.
3. What is Prabayar Njoi all about?
Prabayar Njoi is Malaysia’s FIRST prepaid satellite television service. It is a pay-as-you watch service and is now available to all Njoi customers nationwide. With Prabayar Njoi, Njoi customers have the option to access new additional channels, on top of the existing 28 TV and 20 radio channels, in accordance with their viewing and budget needs.
4. What are the channels currently available in new Njoi Prepaid Phase 2?
NJOI Prabayar introduces more choices with ala carte options, based on channels rather than packs. This allows greater flexibility for customers to select their preferred channels. A total of 12 channels are being made available.
5. Can I purchase my preferred channels individually (ala carte) from the current prepaid packages?
Yes, you can. The list provided entitles you to purchase any channels which you want at the given price and duration.
6. Are there any Indian prepaid packages or channels currently available for Njoi customers?
Thangathirai is available for your purchase at RM10 for 1 month. We will make necessary announcement should there be any new Indian prepaid channels available.
7. Do any of the existing prepaid packages offer sports coverage or content to Njoi customers? If not, will such content be made available via Prabayar Njoi?
Yes, currently we have a Sports Pack consisting of Astro Arena & Astro SuperSport 1 broadcasting major local & international sporting events. You can enjoy the Sports Pack at a price of RM5.30 for 3 days.
8. How many channels are currently available on Njoi?
Njoi gives consumers in Malaysia access to quality education, information and entertainment including sports and music on 22 TV and 20 radio channels with no monthly subscription.
9. I have technical issues related to Prabayar Njoi

10. If I am an Astro customer, will I be able to enjoy the prepaid services on my Astro decoder?
Unfortunately, Prabayar Njoi is only available to Njoi customers.
11. Why is Prabayar Njoi only available to Njoi customers and not to Astro customers as well?
